The artwork will be in an important place, ie in the middle in front of the main building. Since the design has an important role, it is crucial to portray the character of Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center.

With this Kanatlar design, the identity of creativity, technology, and aviation is represented. Those three points depict the mission of Ozdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center and it is done by adding the wings of their aviation designs into the art installation. Material and form are the most important aspects of the art installation. Metal gives the character of technology and innovation, and the shape of the wings shows that we are dealing with aviation here.
Besides the idea of aviation, the client asks for harmony between the new building, the environment, and the iconic artwork.

After analyzing the building and the environment, metal also fits well. The environment and the building leave a futuristic science center-like character behind. In particular, the metal slats of the building used as louvers give a futuristic speed atmosphere.
That speed would also leave an optimistic impression on the artwork, which is why a solid form is omitted. A massive form would not integrate well with the building, which represents speed and light. The metal slats that represent the speed are therefore reflected in the artwork Kanatlar.
